How Gratitude Empowers you
I have written about Gratitude before and how it is such a healing Focus.
When all around you may seem to be Confusion and Pain take a moment to stop and Breathe ...
Contemplate all of the things that are present in your life, that you can be grateful for.
You can begin by noticing things, Simple things, Memories, People, Situations that you love have enjoyed and are grateful for.
Here is a Sunset I noticed outside of the Window one early evening last week..
I stopped Everything just to Marvel at it's Beauty
You can take this as far as you like. Gratitude also connects you to a larger Force of Energy on a similar vibrational Frequency and it gives you the opportunity to change your mind, and focus on what you like.
One of the nicest things you can do is create a gratitude journal.
I like to Use a Journal that is Cute as I find I am more inclined to look at it, Write in it and perhaps Tote it around with me. I took this Journal with me on the road today.
It is just another way to keep thoughts in perspective and count your blessings, remembering what you are grateful for.
I really like journalling, I find it has helped explore feelings and thoughts that may be hidden deep in the unconscious mind.
As you can see I write Quite a Few..
Here are Three I am working in right now..
I write my Spiritual Revelations as I understand them, and want to pass them on , in this one. Eventually these will go in a Book I publish.
This is My Vision Board Book, I have Blogged about this one before here
So Have some fun with it, and Enjoy what you are doing as you too, Take control of your Life.

To Dream the Dream - The Big Gamble
I have always found it interesting to ponder the fact that Some people believe in Expecting the worst and Hoping for the best.
What on Earth does this Mean ?
"I expect the worst, But I hope for the best" ? How on earth does this make any sense.
On further Discussion with thinkers who use this language, I have heard some say "Weeeeell, if it doesn't work out I am prepared, and if it does it is a Bonus"
Honestly You guys this is sooo not true !
People who expect the worst, get the worst and Often ! They expect it in just about every situation they encounter, and as if that is insufficient: They expect the worst for you, their families, friends and everyone they come across in the world.
In fact, let them tell it they become an all knowing Authority on the Subject "Ewwww Too Risky" they say, contorting their faces while remembering times in their past they briefly attempted any such Self Belief.
Before rapidly cozying back up to the safety of old Familiarity ...
If you say something like "Well I am Optimistic", they will taunt you as if you are a fool, "Well the Odds are against you my friend" they will Chant,
"Cant you see, it is obvious", "Simply Common sense" and then continue to berate you (perhaps humiliate you publicly) for being such an Optimistic Idiot!
Which Leads me to another thought.
Do "People pleasers" play it safe, Conform and Hope for the Best ?
hmmmm ....
Is it because they do not want to speak out of turn, or step out of line with .. an original Idea ?
Or is it because of the Risk involved ?
That Dreaded, "I Told you so", "You are such an Idiot for believing in yourself", "What did you really think was going to happen", "No one else can do it, and neither can you".
Or "Things Like that Do Not Happen to normal people like us", The Rich, Special, Celebrities, Privileged etc .....
They have Lovingly (not) Taken you under their wing and made you an "Us", you may not have even known this before ...
We are a Tribe !
Is this the Anticipated Conclusion, That prevents potentially Optimistic people from daring to believe in going for it again, breaking the mold, Erasing the pattern ?
When I think about it, I see a picture of a hopeful Optimist, Admitting to a Pessimist "Yes, I just lost it for a second and began to believe in myself" ....
Quite Funny really, as it is usually such an Unconscious Decision, to Conform, to other peoples Ideas of what is right for you and your Life.
Believing in yourself, may just actually be a risk worth Taking ... You won't ever know unless you dare Risk it !
It may be that It takes time to Get into the flow, and you learn new things about yourself along the Way. It may be that it pays off immediately !
